Goin' Turkish

When mansuite first ordered these fluffy burgundy masterpieces of bedroom couture there was really no intent to look like the estranged sons of a playboy mogul. We just figured the flannel downgrade would severely dampen our mid-winter cuddling prospects. With unrivaled warmth and softness, the 12 oz Lands End Turkish Terry Cloth full-length, shawl-collar, handy-pocketed, generous no-gap fit (?) with monogrammed man-o-grammed initials was the clear choice. And though in retrospect, burgundy ought to have been the clear choice given the fiery Havana-Centralesque color scheme of our manabode, in reality it was the product of discordant preferences surrounding 'true navy' and 'forest green,' leading to the elimination of both. (Fear that 'pure white' would accentuate late February paleness and progressively become a tarnished tie dye of beer stain, coffee slosh and steak sauce discredited the final color option.)

The robes were nearly purchased for a huge discount after being spotted on unofficial mansuite website SteepandCheap.com. Sadly, Michael ruined everything (not the last time this would happen) by failing to purchase before they had sold out of his initials. See epic CPD photoshop below.

Robes, the poor man's costume for any occasion.
